Congratulations to VFW Post 6208 for receiving the 2023-2024 VFW All American Post award! This award goes to the top 25 posts in each division out of 6100 posts nationwide. The All-American program exists to recognize exceptional leadership and teamwork, authentic accomplishment in membership growth and VFW core programs.

 

To achieve this award a post must successfully participate in various VFW Programs, such as Voice of Democracy, Patriots Pen, National Citizenship Education Teacher Award, Buddy Poppy distribution, National Military Services fundraiser, National Veterans Service, and exceed 100% of its membership total. The top 25 posts that meet all the requirements are then scored on membership gains in excess of 100%. 

 

The post is presented with a permanent post streamer for our flag, certificate of award from the National Commander, recognition nationwide in the VFW magazine, state and national conventions and websites. Our local post members are able to wear and display the All-American pin and the post Commander and Quartermaster are awarded the distinctive red, white and blue All-American hat, while representing our post and members.
